Effective September 1, 2026

TimerShelf is an interval timer app for iPhone. This page explains what data the app handles and how it's used — in plain language, matching what the app actually does.

What TimerShelf collects

Your timers, shelves, and workout templates

The intervals, timer groups ("shelves"), and templates you create are stored on your device. TimerShelf doesn't operate its own servers and never sees this data.

iCloud sync (optional, Apple-managed)

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your timers and shelves sync privately between your own devices through Apple's iCloud service, under your Apple ID. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's frameworks — TimerShelf does not have its own account system or backend database.

Purchases

TimerShelf Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. TimerShelf never receives or stores your payment details — only a confirmation from Apple that the purchase was made.

What TimerShelf does not do

Data retention and deletion

Your timer data lives on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account. Deleting the app, or turning off iCloud sync for TimerShelf in your device's Settings, removes it. Because TimerShelf has no server-side database, there's nothing further to delete on our end.

Children's privacy

TimerShelf is not directed at children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect any data from children.
